Session 1: SPLASHIN’ INTO summer // June 16 To June 20
Nothing screams summer more than fun in the sun! We will be hiking on trails, jumping and splashing in streams, and trying to catch frogs and fish. Make sure to check your campers’ pockets when they get home! Then put on that sunscreen because we will also be swimming at the beach.

session 2: ANYTHING GOES! // june 23 to june 27
FIVE, FOUR, THREE, TWO, ONE! This week is going to be fun. Campers will be kept busy with a wide variety of activities, including a trip to swim and use the brand new playground at the Newtown Community Center.

session 3: HOLIDAZE // juNE 30 to july 3
Who doesn’t love a holiday? This week, a new holiday will be celebrated every day. Get ready to show your love by wearing red for Valentine’s Day, dress in your favorite costume for Halloween, and ring in the New Year, oh wait, we mean the new month, with a countdown for all the ones that were sleeping in January! There will be plenty of food, crafts, and games to keep this party going until the week ends early with the Fourth of July!

SESSION 4: FULL STEAM AHEAD // JULY 7 TO JULY 11
Campers will be transformed into scientists every day with fun and exciting projects and experiments! They will also be challenged to think critically while building and solving different problems. In the middle of the week we will be taking our imaginations to the Connecticut Science Center, where everyone will be encouraged to play while learning. If all of this doesn't blow their mind, the volcano challenge at the end of the week certainly will!

SESSION 5: SHIPWRECKED // JULY 14 TO JULY 18
This week is sure to be a SPLASH! Who doesn't love water games, walking the plank, relaxing down a lazy river, or diving into the splash pad at Splashdown Beach? Then there are the adventure seekers who love speeding down the water slides and shooting down the tubes before we head back to camp for a few extra water days.

SESSION 6: WHIP IT UP // JULY 21 TO JULY 25
Find out what’s cooking at camp! Whether it is sweet, salty, or savory, all campers will find their creative side in the kitchen this week. There will be cooking, baking, decorating, and lots and lots of eating! Campers will also make their own personal pizzas at our favorite pizzeria, Bella Rosa.

SESSION 7: SLAM DUNK! // July 28 TO AUGUSt 1
Let the games begin! Campers will spend the week getting ready for a battle of colors at Field Day. Which team will have the fastest time on the obstacle course? Who will be the last two standing in the water balloon toss? We can’t wait to see which team will take home the prize! The fun continues as we jump over to Bounce Xtreme to see who will jump the highest or slide the fastest.

SESSION 8: HAKUNA MATATA // AUGUST 4 TO AUGUST 8
When you wish upon a star…all your dreams will come true. Come enjoy a week of pure magic, each day filled with some of everyone’s favorite Disney characters! We will dress it, sing it, and craft it! We will also be having a camp wide Disney trivia contest. Campers won’t want to miss their magic carpet ride to Lake Compounce to experience their favorite rides and splash in the water park.

SESSION 9: CARNIVAL // AUGUST 11 TO AUGUST 15
Who doesn’t love two days of bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses, water slides, inflatable slip and slides, cotton candy, and sno-cones? It’s no wonder this is our most popular week every summer!

SESSION 10: sAYONARA summer // AUGUST 18 TO AUGUST 22
Summer may be winding down, but at Monroe Summer Day Camp we will make sure the fun continues! Campers will be chilling out at the movies and warming up at the beach. What else do you need? The fun just keeps coming until the last day of camp! But don’t worry, there’s no farewell, just SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!
